Yes it's true as it says in the title I snack a whole lot, even sadly, when I'm not really hungry. I know I'm not alone but it has to stop. I've read some stuff on this subject and here are a couple of suggestions.... Eat breakfast. Breakfast jump starts your metabolism but I find I'm also less hungry during the day if I eat a hearty/healthy breakfast. Eat 6 small meals a day. Isn't that what I've been doing?I am a serial snacker after all,right? Wrong! The meals can't consist of cheese cake slices and coffee or toaster strudel and ice cream.for this one maybe we should set our watches and prepare our approved snacks the night before. When you feel a snack attack get something to drink,no not a soda or milkshake, try some hot or iced tea or good old fashioned water. I read in Bob Green's book Make The Connection that thirst can be confused with hunger. Have a cold or hot drink then wait 20 minutes if your still hungry then get a little something (Healthy!!!) to eat.
So that's all for now and pray for me that I can take my own advice:)
